COVID-19 Response

Dear MPA Members and community partners,

MPA has been closely monitoring the developing COVID-19 pandemic, consulting both national and local health resources to develop the best, most responsible action plan that will both keep our community safe as well as allow us to continue to fulfill our mission. We understand that there are varying degrees of concern over the virus, we are striving to adapt our programming to accommodate all Members, being sensitive to individual needs and concerns.

Although there are very few known cases in Arizona we understand the importance of doing everything possible to mitigate its spread. To that end, we are following CDC guidelines and at the urging of the City of Tucson Mayor, Mrs. Regina Romero, we are cancelling any scheduled events with over 50 attendees through the month of March, which includes the following:

March 20th Monthly Membership Breakfast: POSTPONED
March 26th Cocktails & Connections with AIA of Southern Arizona: POSTPONED

Given that our committee meetings stay under 50 attendees, we will continue to hold these in person and will be offering a virtual option for those who are more comfortable participating from afar.

We are continuing to work collaboratively with the Town of Marana and our other 2020 Wild Ride partners and will update you with any new developments as to when the event will be held.

Because the situation regarding COVID-19 is changing rapidly and much is still unknown, we are uncertain when we will be able to resume our regular monthly programming. Any changes and updates to our events will be announced via email and posted on our website.
